Making data customisation more robust

As our user bases grew, we noticed the types of data our users have in their database are becoming a lot more varied than we had ever expected. It is both exciting and challenging! So we knew it was time we make our data (column) recognition more powerful and flexible.

Over the last few weeks, we have been working on doing just that! We have now added the flexibility for you to customise the data type of each column at data import. We take an intelligent guess to the type of data you have, but you have the final say.

What it means is, you can decide if you want your data to show:

  1. as basic information or a map filter; and also

  2. what type of basic information (e.g. website link, the cover image, etc)

While we are at it, we also made our published maps 20% lighter in size so it loads faster when viewing from a slower network. It's our continued effort to ensure your beautiful maps show up fast to your target audience.

Please give it a try and let us know what you think! :)
