Building an AI-powered custom interactive map builder

From function to UI design, we have been doing our research for our AI upgrade. For the next few months, we will be focused on implementing a major AI-powered revamp to our no code map builder. Before we start the redesign and development, we wanted to layout our core principles and goals.

Building the next generation AI-powered map builder

Our goal is deliver an AI-driven custom map builder that would allow anyone to build a professional-quality, custom interactive map with just text prompts. You will be able to build maps from your data faster and easier than ever. But that is not all, with the help of AI, we will be able to deliver more value to our customers by extracting valuable insights from their visitor interactions, so they know exactly what to do to improve their map performance, visitor engagement and conversion.

We want to help our customers to

  1. build a production-ready, custom interactive map faster, without any coding,

  2. gain valuable insights from their visitor interactions, including

    1. understand how each map component drive and affect their map performance (is the embedded media engaging, the map marker and label, the font, information displayed, CTA buttons, clickables etc), and

    2. learn what their visitors are searching for,

  3. then tie those insights into a gen AI capability to make automated design changes as well as identify potential gaps in their geographical presence or dataset.

We believe incorporating AI into a mapping tool would bring out limitless possibilities where people can achieve not just productivity gain, but gain actual new and valuable insights into their customer base and business presence like never before.

We are definitely still in the early stages of this development, so please stay tune!.

Nan
